Bread baking may seem easy but it’s not that. In fact few important things are always to be kept in mind while baking bread. If you want to the bake the best and freshest bread just go through the following Bread Baking Tips:

Go through the recipe and check you have all the ingredients ready at hand.

Start as soon as possible as it takes almost 1 ½ to 2 hours for the dough to get doubled.

  • Also check whether the yeast-water is lukewarm or not. Yeast will not rise in cold water and in hot water it will die. The modern methods of baking bread do not need the yeast to be risen.
  • Wash your hands before managing the dough.
  • Hold your patience and wait for the dough to rise before you start baking.
  • To check whether the dough is ready you have to press your middle finger and forefinger into the dough. If the impressions remain, then the dough is ready for shaping.
  • The dough becomes soft, elastic and stretchable with kneading and helps to raise the bread uniformly by pushing the yeast.
  • For kneading:Always use a wooden bowl for raising the dough.
  • Sprinkle flour on the surface where you are going to knead
  • Keep the dough on this surface and sprinkle flour on it. But don’t add extra flour for preventing the bread from becoming much heavy
  • Start kneading the dough with your palms and push down it away gradually by using the upper portion o your body along with your shoulders.
  • Turn the dough quarterly, hold its far end and fold over the dough towards you. Repeat the entire procedure of pushing and folding adding flour as required.
