Noodle soup

Noodle soup is actually a variety of dishes in Chinese cuisine, which is prepared with noodles and is served with stock along with other ingredients. These dishes are staple food in Asia.

One variety of Chicken Noodle soup and one variety of vegetable soup have been discussed below:

Ingredients for Chicken Noodle soup are as follow:
  • cold water
  • chicken
  • sliced carrot
  • sliced onion
  • parsley
  • bay leaf
  • noodles
  • salt
  • pepper

Method of preparing Chicken Noodle soup is as follow:

Chicken pieces are to be washed and cut to pieces. Then cover it with cold water. After that, add the seasoning along with the vegetables and simmer it for around 3 hours. You have to cook until the chicken pieces become tender and soft. Skim off the fat attached to the chicken pieces. Then remove the chicken and add the noodles to it and again cook for about 15 minutes. Your soup is ready to serve.



Ingredients for Asian Vegetable Chicken Noodle soup are as follow:
  • 3 cups of water
  • 6 cups pf beef broth
  • 12 ounces of thinly sliced green cabbage
  • 1 and ½ pounds of peeled and cut sweet potatoes
  • 8 ounces of sugar snap peas
  • 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
  • 8 ounces of broken capellini
  • scallions for garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons of dark oriental sesame seed oil

The method of preparing Vegetable Noodle soup is discussed below:

Firstly, put the water and broth to boil in a 4 05 5 quart pot. Then add garlic and sweet potatoes and continue stirring. After that, reduce the heat and cover the vessel and simmer for another 8 minutes or continue simmering till the potatoes become soft and crispy. Then add the cabbage and increase the heat and boil for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add peas, teriyaki sauce and capellini and again boil for 3 to 4 minutes, till the cabbage and potatoes become tender. Now add sesame oil and stir. Your soup is ready. For garnishing, add the slices scallions.
