New Mexican

New Mexican food is a very famous cuisine. It is entirely a special type of regional cuisine. The origin of the New Mexican cuisine was in the United States of the New Mexico and in the southern part of Colorado. New Mexican cuisines are the integral part of the Mexican-American cuisine. Though numerous New Mexican cuisines are very similar to the Mexican as well as Tex-Mex offerings like burritos and enchiladas. All the New Mexican food has its own significance and distinct style. The major difference between New Mexican food and any other foods of Unites states is the use of chili pepper. All the New Mexican foods use different types of chili and chili pepper to enhance the taste of the food. Mainly New Mexico chiles finds in two types such as green chile and red chile. The name of the chili depends on the stage of their ripeness.

The native style of New Mexican food has been derived from the United states, after the end of the Mexican-American War. Nowadays, all the New Mexican cuisines have become little bit different from the Tex-Mex, Mexican and Mexican-Californian foods. Not only the types of chili, the New Mexican foods are also different from any other foods with their some special techniques like ingredients, spice balance, use of sauces and condiments, and also many more things.



Possibly, Green chile is the specifying ingredient of the New Mexican food. Though cilantro and cumin are also important ingredients in the New Mexican food.
